Wine Connection is Now Open in their new Wine Shop & Bistro in K-Village. They import cheese and various charcuterie from Europe as well as the many wines both Old and New World that they are known for, and offer diners a daily bistro menu, which may be consumed on the premises or to take-away. The space is light and airy and is a very congenial spot to spend some time sipping a wine-by-the-glass along with a selection of cheese and ham or prosciutto.

Totally lousy service @ Wine Connection in K Village.
No wine with your food from 14 to 17… BUT the Aussie manager who couldn’t make an exception to a silly rule happily enjoyed plenty of wine at his own table. Charming !!

Manager sounds like a right twat lol

  4. You cannot sell wine in thailand says:

You cannot sell wine in thailand durring that time or you lose your licence or have to pay off the police $$$$ Welcome to thailand

Same thing happened to me in K-village branch: Couldnt get wine with my food (yes, I know the law) but the next table was opening bottles constantly. When I asked, they just said that no bottles have been opened…at the same time they opened another red wine. Service was rude as well. Avoid.

We had a very nice and tasty dinner and the wine was excellent! (after 5 pm)

But it is not that easy, to enjoy a dinner and a conversation with Lady Gaga and others of teckno styled music on full blast.

The food was nice but not better or cheaper, than any other Italian styled restaurants in Sukhumvit, with soft music as background.

the manager should do a better job at selecting his staff, training them, and supervising them. the service is mediocre at best and totally unprofessional at worst. the last time i had a meal at the wine connection i overhead the staff (speaking in thai) wondering what the manager wanted to be done and in the process making fun of him; in the presence of customers. furthermore, the food is ordinary and its presentation needs improvement. the manager better get a grip on the place or else the problems will get bigger and the place will start to lose customers. my recommendation is to avoid the k-village branch on the weekends. also, to the manager, don’t blow off your customers; show a little class and take the time to meet and greet everyone.

Couldn’t agree more with the comments, poor service, poor food quality selection & presentation. Don’t even think of sitting outside, you would never be served..
There is room for improvement which can be obtained if you train your staff well. And perhaps.. share the tips to encourage better service !
