It was interesting to read this, as Tom was a longtime friend of mine.  I spent many evenings with him at Musso&#039;s (he always sat at Manny&#039;s end of the counter, and usually ordered Romaine w/Roquefort and French Lamb Chops.......rare)     

He loved Au Petite Cafe and spoke of it often.  As a matter of fact, when I moved to LA in the late 60&#039;s, it was my first experience with really terrific French food.

Tom was a wonderful dining companion, and he spoke kindly of you often.]]></description>
