Culinary Tidbits . . .Joe Bastianich defends his business partner, Mario Batali regarding his off-the-cuff remarks about bankers being Hitler & Stalin like, and Bastianich is quoted as saying, “I come from that world, I worked on Wall Street for many years. Eataly is a mega-Italian-food-destination in NYC, a collection of many dining, or produce venues that are intended for sale to take home, in the sprawling food-hall complex, which one of the founders, Mario Batali, prefers to call “food temple”.
